Plaintiff Antilles Steamship Company, Ltd. ("Antilles") brought this action seeking to recover under a contract of marine insurance for damage to its vessel, the Alchemist. The case was tried by the Court without a jury and by consent of Antilles and defendants, 62 insurance companies, the trial was limited to the question of liability.
