Terrell contracted to provide the defendants with "information concerning the location of an estimated 35 million ton of coal and also possible limestone deposits within and under the land" in Lucas, Marion, and Monroe counties. In return for the information, the defendants agreed to pay plaintiff $5000 and an overriding royalty based on the amount of coal mined...
