Defendant, Harold Myrick appeals a trial court judgment awarding treble damages under LSA-R.S. 56:1478.11 to plaintiffs, Eskridge E. Smith, Sr., and Thomas L. Smith for the cutting, without permission, of timber located on plaintiffs' property.
