DUDLEY, Justice.

Appellant, James Branam, was convicted of murder and sentenced to 30 years in prison. On appeal, he contends that he was arrested and detained without probable cause and that the inculpatory statement taken after his arrest was the result of the exploitation of the illegal arrest and detention. We agree. The Court of Appeals has certified this case to us pursuant to Rule 29(1)(b).
