PIERCE, Judge.
Defendant was convicted of the offense of reckless manslaughter under § 18-3-104(1)(a), C.R.S.1973 (1978 Repl. Vol. 8). His sole allegation of error on appeal is that statements that he made to the father of his victim while in jail should have been excluded from testimony on the ground of the statutory clergyman-penitent privilege.
