Each defendant was indicted on three charges of aggravated rape (G.L.c. 265, § 22) and one charge of kidnapping (G.L.c. 265, § 26). A jury acquitted the defendants of kidnapping and convicted them of so much of each of the remaining three indictments as charged the lesser included offense of rape without aggravation. Each defendant was sentenced on each conviction to be imprisoned at the Massachusetts...
