This is a products liability action. On December 2, 1980, the plaintiffs' decedent, William Robinson, was the pilot of a Cessna aircraft No. 212 that was en route from Peachtree City, Georgia, to Mansfield, Ohio. When it was in the vicinity of Tazewell, Tennessee, the plane crashed. The pilot, together with the three passengers, was killed.
