This suit was brought by Marvirazon Compania Naviera, S.A. (Marvirazon), against Atlantic & Gulf Stevedores, Inc. (A & G), and H. J. Baker & Bros., Inc. (Baker), the charterer, for damages to the cargo compartment of M/V CONSTANTINOS — a vessel owned by Marvirazon — allegedly caused by stevedoring activity.
