This case is a consolidation of two actions brought by appellants Retail Clerks Health & Welfare Trust Funds and the Retail Clerks Pension Trust Funds to collect employee benefit contributions allegedly due from respondents Shopland Supermarket, Inc., and West Dependable Stores of Everett, Inc., for the contract periods 1971-74 and 1974-77.
