The appellant-defendant, Leon D. Meadows, Jr., was convicted of armed robbery and received a sentence of fifteen years and one day in the penitentiary. The most serious issue raised on appeal concerns the admissibility of the robbery victim's accusatory statement, made to police over an hour after the offense occurred, in which the victim identified the defendant as his assailant.
