Defendant appeals after his conviction by a jury of two counts of manslaughter by culpable negligence in operating an automobile in violation of § 565.005 RSMo.1978. The jury assessed a punishment of five years imprisonment on each count. The court sentenced the defendant in accordance with the jury's assessment and ordered the two five-year terms to run consecutively.
