During the evening of May 20, 1978, plaintiff Michael A. Nadeau (age 17), defendant David Stack (age 17), and defendant Daniel W. Svoboda (age 18) gathered at the residence of the defendant parents of David Stack in preparation for a fishing trip the next day.
