Plaintiff, Iris Lucido, was employed by the D. H. Holmes Department Store in Hammond, Louisiana. She testified that, while at work on May 8, 1979, she had been replacing boxes of shirts on the shelves for approximately forty-five minutes. During this restocking, she stooped down and picked up a box containing approximately four shirts.
