The defendant, Ronald Johnson, appeals from his conviction for murder, 17-A M.R. S.A. § 201(1)(A), following a jury trial in Superior Court, Lincoln County.1 On this appeal, the defendant argues that the evidence was insufficient to support the jury's verdict finding him guilty of the murder of his mother, Verna Johnson, and also argues that numerous errors occurred in the course of the trial.
