OPINION

WALTERS, Judge.

Plaintiff, a bus driver for defendant Trailways Bus System since April, 1965, sustained a work-connected injury to his lower back in January of 1974. A spinal fusion was performed in July of 1976, and a workmen's compensation claim related to the injury was settled in January of 1977. The settlement judgment provided for plaintiff to be paid "$4,000 for permanent partial disability... prorated over 478 weeks at approximately $8.37...
