This appeal was prosecuted by Panola County, Texas and the State of Texas, intervenor-plaintiffs below, from a judgment of the district court ordering payment by appellees of delinquent ad valorem taxes.

The judgment herein was signed on December 15, 1980, and appellants filed a Motion for New Trial on January 13, 1981. Appellants, being the State and a political subdivision thereof, filed a notice of appeal on March 2, 1981, and Panola County...
