This is an action for damages for malicious prosecution. The action was brought by Cheryl Lewis against Ernest W. Williams and his employer, Commerce Union Bank. The underlying criminal prosecution involved the arrest of Miss Lewis on a warrant charging her with "forgery and/or passing forged papers."
