DOWD, Judge.

Defendant-appellant, John Edward Ball, was convicted by a jury of first degree robbery in violation of § 569.020 RSMo 1978. Sentence was assessed by the jury and imposed by the trial court at twenty-seven years imprisonment. Defendant appeals. We affirm.
