This is an appeal from the grant of a petition for adoption by the appellee stepmother of the child of the appellant mother's eight year old daughter.

The evidence showed that the natural parents were divorced in 1972, five months after the child was born. Appellant consented to permanent custody in the father, who married appellee later in 1972. Appellant had visitation rights although they were exercised very little after 1974. The...
