This is an equitable adoption case in which appellant Helen Beatrice Watkins King is seeking to be declared the adopted daughter by estoppel of the late Beatrice Campbell Watkins, who died intestate, and as such heir, the owner of a one-third (1/3) interest in 220 acres of land in Nacogdoches County. The suit was brought against the other heirs of Beatrice Campbell Watkins who hold the disputed interest in the property by virtue of intestate succession...
