This case comes before us on appeal by the defendants, Nicholas Pari and Andrew F. Merola, from a judgment of conviction of murder in the first degree. The defendants were jointly indicted for the murder of Joseph Scanlon, which murder allegedly took place on April 3, 1978, in the city of Providence.
