Defendant was convicted of the offense of armed robbery. He was sentenced to life imprisonment, said sentence to run consecutively to a sentence earlier imposed in another county. He appeals following the dismissal of his motion for new trial. His appellate counsel has filed a motion to withdraw on the ground that the appeal was wholly frivolous. See Anders v. California,
