On July 26, 1979, defendant was convicted on her plea of nolo contendere to a charge of involuntary manslaughter. MCL 750.321; MSA 28.553. She was sentenced to a term of 30 days in the county jail, placed on probation for two years (with costs of $400), and ordered to donate 200 hours of time to community service work.
