This is an appeal from a summary judgment. Plaintiff in the trial court was Artco-Bell Corporation (Artco-Bell) and defendant was the City of Temple, Texas (City). The trial court granted City's motion for summary judgment which alleged that Artco-Bell's notice of claim to the City was not "duly verified" as required by the City Charter and that the City was not given written notice of the alleged dangerous condition giving rise to the loss in question...
