ORDER

RAMIREZ, District Judge.

Plaintiff, a state prisoner, filed an action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, alleging that officials at Folsom State Prison refused, in derogation of his First Amendment rights, to mail his letters addressed to female minors to whom he was not related by blood or marriage. Defendants Morris and Butterfield filed a motion for summary judgment with respect to the allegations of the original complaint.1
