Plaintiff IPALCO Employees Credit Union (IECU) sued defendants Earl D. Culver, Sr., and Opal V. Culver (Culvers) for $4,908.20 on an admittedly unpaid promissory note. IECU succeeded in having summary judgment rendered against it for $3400 for failure to comply with provisions of the Iowa Consumer Credit Code (ICCC), chapter 537, The Code.
