Coming before this Court on an appeal as of right, the defendant challenges his December 7, 1979, jury convictions of first-degree murder, MCL 750.316; MSA 28.548, assault with intent to commit murder, MCL 750.83; MSA 28.278, and armed robbery, MCL 750.529; MSA 28.797. On December 27, 1979, the defendant was sentenced to three concurrent terms of life imprisonment for these offenses.
