The question before us is whether in the present circumstances Iowa courts have jurisdiction to adjudicate the right of custody of a child as between her parents under the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act. The merits of the custody dispute between the parents are not presented. The uniform act is found in chapter 598A of the Iowa Code. Indiana, the other state involved, has the act in sections 31-1-11.6-1 to .6-24 of its Code. This court...
