The petitioner, John Kindhart, appeals from the denial of his petition for writ of habeas corpus. We affirm that denial.

The facts are not disputed. In 1976, petitioner was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to not less than three nor more than nine years' imprisonment. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, pars. 9-3(b) and 1005-8-1(b)(4).) Also a parole term...
