On March 2, 1981, a jury convicted each of the Defendants of one count of conspiracy, 18 U.S.C. § 371, twenty-one counts of mail fraud, 18 U.S.C. § 1341, and two counts of making a false statement to a government agency, 18 U.S.C. § 1001.
