Defendant was convicted, on his plea of guilty, of attempted carrying a concealed weapon, MCL 750.92, 750.227; MSA 28.287, 28.424, by Recorder's Court Judge Harold Hood and sentenced to two years probation. Defendant was subsequently charged with uttering and publishing, MCL 750.249; MSA 28.446, and convicted, on his plea of guilty, by Judge Clarice Jobes, successor judge to Judge Hood.
