This is an appeal from a judgment entered in the Superior Court confirming an award of an arbitration panel. On or about October 4, 1978, the appellant, J.A.L. Painting, Inc. (J.A.L.), entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Painters District Council No. 35 (D.C. 35) which required that J.A.L. abide by the terms and conditions of an existing labor agreement (Area Contract) between D.C. 35 and the Painting and Decorating Contractors
