PRICE, Judge:

Following a jury trial commenced on May 16, 1977, appellant, a physician, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter1 of Barbara Fedder, his patient. Post-trial motions were denied and appellant was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of one to three years, fined $5,000 and ordered to pay the costs of prosecution. For the reasons stated herein, we affirm the judgment of sentence.
