SPURLOCK, Justice.

This is a workers' compensation case. In April of 1979 the appellee, Billy Ray Bishop, sustained an injury in the course and scope of his employment. Bishop worked as a painter. In the process of lifting two five gallon buckets of paint he felt his back "give way" and was taken from the job site to the hospital.
