The issues in this workers' compensation case are, first, whether claimant timely filed her occupational disease claim and, second, whether claimant established by a preponderance of the evidence that her disease was compensable. The referee found that claimant had established a compensable occupational disease but held that her claim was not timely filed under ORS 656.807(1), because it was filed more than 180 days following the date claimant became...
