Clayton Stroud's conviction for the murder of Charles Mutashobya and his sentence to life imprisonment were affirmed on appeal in Stroud v. State, 246 Ga. 717 (273 S.E.2d 155) (1980). In this appeal, he complains of the overruling of his extraordinary motion for new trial on the basis of newly discovered evidence, filed August 21, 1980.
