Evidently feeling out of sorts, the appellant slashed the tire of a Coca-Cola truck, stabbed a police officer who attempted to question him about the incident, and later, after being transported to jail, set fire to the mattress in his cell. He was indicted for aggravated assault on a police officer, criminal damage to property in the first degree (for setting fire to the bunk), criminal damage to property...
