Defendant, Richard Leslie Schrier, appeals from his convictions of murder in the first degree in violation of sections 707.1-.2, The Code Supp.1977, and sexual abuse in the first degree in violation of sections 709.1-.2, The Code Supp.1977. Defendant contends the trial court erred in overruling his motions for a directed verdict and for a new trial because the evidence was not sufficient to generate a jury question or to support the jury's verdict...
