Plaintiff, Elizabeth Wilcox, appealed from the child custody provision as well as the property settlement and alimony in gross award in a judgment of divorce granted by the Ingham County Circuit Court. The trial court ordered joint custody of the two children to be held in the plaintiff and defendant with the parties to exchange physical custody of both children weekly unless the parties agreed otherwise.
