In Superior Court, Cumberland County, Albert Lee Flick was convicted of murder, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 201. The indictment charged alternatively that Flick either intentionally or knowingly caused the death of his wife Sandra Flick (§ 201(1)(A)), or engaged in conduct which manifested a depraved indifference to the value of human life and which in fact caused the death of Sandra Flick (§ 201(1)(B)).
