The sole issue raised by the state in its appeal to this court is whether the trial court committed reversible error by excluding testimony on the subject of the "battered wife syndrome" by an expert on battered wives, where defendant pleaded self-defense to killing her husband. We hold the common pleas court did not commit error in excluding such expert testimony. Therefore, we reverse the Court of Appeals, and affirm the conviction and sentence...
