This case involves a constitutional challenge to several of Texas' statutes concerning child abuse investigations, within chapter 34 of the Texas Family Code, Title 2 (1975 & Supp.1980). The plaintiffs seek declaratory and injunctive relief, damages, and attorneys fees under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and 28 U.S.C. § 2201.
