When the contractor failed to pay for the material, appellant filed a lien in Cobb County against appellee's property. As Code Ann. § 67-2002 (3) requires of a materialman attempting to perfect a lien, appellant filed suit against the contractor within 12 months of the date on which payment for the material was due...
