Defendant entered a plea of guilty in the circuit court of Champaign County to the offense of reckless driving in violation of section 11-503 of the Illinois Rules of the Road (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-503) and was sentenced to 5 months' imprisonment. Within apt time he filed motions to vacate the plea and for rehearing to reduce the sentence. Both motions were denied...
