On Friday, June 30, 1978, LaShonda Watson, age 2½ years, fell from a slippery slide located in Lake James Park and suffered a fractured leg. This action was brought by her father and next friend under the Nebraska Political Subdivisions Tort Claims Act, Neb.Rev.Stat. §§ 23-2401 et seq.
