On October 22, 1980, following a jury trial in the circuit court of Piatt County, defendant, Larry A. Warner, was convicted of two counts of unlawful restraint (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 38, par. 10-3) and four counts of contributing to the neglect of a child. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 23, par. 2361.)
