AMDAHL, Justice.

This is an appeal from the judgment of the Dakota County District Court in favor of respondent, and its order denying appellants' motion for a new trial or amended findings of fact. The action was brought by Ravenna Township permanently to enjoin appellants from interfering with what the Township contended was a public road within the meaning of Minn.Stat. § 160.05, subd. 1 (1980).
