In this slip and fall case, close questions of negligence and contributory negligence were decided by the trial court in favor of the plaintiff, Cleveland Lewis. Judgment was rendered against the defendant store owner, Piggly-Wiggly of Ferriday, Inc. and its insurer, Commercial Union Insurance Company, in the amount of $1,670.00 with legal interest from date of judicial demand.
