Defendants William Buchholz and William Heap appeal from the judgment of the Circuit Court of McDonough County in favor of plaintiff Jerald Davis. Davis had brought suit against Buchholz and Heap for recovery on three promissory notes given by them to him in 1975 in connection with a business arrangement.
