In these consolidated suits1 the plaintiffs, Kenneth Maillet, Maxwell Desselle and Garland Desselle, appeal from a verdict of the jury denying their claims of defamation against the defendants, Jane and Gerard Guillory. They also assign as error the jury's granting of the defendants' reconventional demand for attorneys' fees.
